George W. Somers, Development and Leasing Counsel

George has been listed in Best Lawyers in America (1997–2007), cited by Indianapolis Monthly as one of the top real estate lawyers in the city, and was given a #1 ranking by Chambers & Partners (2003-2007) among real estate attorneys in Indiana. George was co-founder of Wallack, Somers & Haas, a boutique law firm concentrating its practice in commercial real estate. He began his legal career at Baker & Daniels, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and became a partner when he left in 1999.

George was born in Butler, Pennsylvania and graduated from St. Olaf College. Additionally, he earned degrees from Harvard University, Duke University, and University of Chicago. He has received several honors, including Phi Beta Kappa, and was named a James B. Duke Scholar.
